Sloping gardens to a Georgian House in the Peak District

This project has been evolving since the 2020 lockdown when the client had the time to realise how much potential the garden offered. The house is nestled amongst its hilly landscape with the main gardens being to the front of the house. The gardens slope dramatically down towards a busy stream.

The client is a keen cook and having a productive garden was important as was having a west facing spot to enjoy the magnificent sunsets when on offer. A pergola was installed in 2020 on an existing but reconfigured terrace as was a driveway that could accommodate four plus cars. The main terracing works are due to take place in 2026.
