This scheme is for a keen gardener with an interest in cut flowers where the lower section of the garden is prone to flooding.
This proposal embraces the flood zone area with the inclusion of flood resilient planting. The character of planting changes and reacts as it gets closer to the higher grounds of the house and out of the ‘danger zone’. Raised beds are proposed up on the terrace, allowing for easy access from the house for nipping out to pick some herbs or flowers for the kitchen or table.
